EMOK will hold its annual Research and Teaching Methodology Workshop at Budapest Corvinus University on February 3, 2023. The one-day workshop will feature presentations by renowned domestic and international researchers and educators. In the morning, the research methodology workshop will focus on the topic of "Experimental Methodology." In the afternoon, the teaching methodology workshop will cover "Digital Teaching Methodology, Blended Learning, and the Possibilities of Moodle H5P Interactive Content."

The public defense of Sandra Schneider's doctoral dissertation entitled "ACCEPTANCE OF FRUGAL INNOVATIONS IN GERMANY - INFLUENCING FACTORS ON THE PURCHASE BEHAVIOR INTENTION FOR FRUGAL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES" will take place on November 30, 2022 at the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The supervisor of the dissertation is Orsolya Szigeti.

The public defense of Florian Bernd Ross's doctoral dissertation entitled "THE APPLICATION OF MOBILE-HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES IN HEARING HEALTHCARE AND ITS EFFECTS ON SERVICE QUALITY" will take place on December 1, 2022 at the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The supervisor of the dissertation is István Tózsa.

The public defense of Munif Mohammed Ali Al Zoubi's doctoral dissertation entitled "The Effect of Online Trust on the Relationship between Social Media Networks and Enhancing Brand Image" will take place on November 22, 2022 at the István Széchenyi Doctoral School of Economics and Management of the University of Sopron. The supervisor of the dissertation is Nicole Mau.

The public defense of Ádám Katona's doctoral dissertation entitled "The impact of customer involvement on innovation outcomes" will take place on October 17, 2022 at the Doctoral School of Business Administration of the Corvinus University of Budapest. The supervisor of the dissertation is Tamara Keszey.

The public defense of Florian Bernd Ross's doctoral dissertation entitled "TNutzungsgraderhöhung der Kommunikation in kleinen und mittelständischen IT-Unternehmen durch moderne Marketing-Kommunikationsinstrumente Marketing-Kommunikationsinstrumente – Ein Social – Media – Referenzmodell" will take place on September 26, 2022 at the István Széchenyi Economics and Management Doctoral School of the University of Sopron. The supervisor of the dissertation is Nicole Mau.

The public defense of Atilla Wohllebe's doctoral dissertation entitled "CONSUMER ATTITUDE TOWARD MOBILE APPS IN RETAIL: THE ROLE OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND PUSH NOTIFICATIONS" will take place on July 13, 2022 at the Doctoral School of Management and Organizational Sciences of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The supervisor of the dissertation is Szilárd Csaba Podruzsik.

The public defense of Farheen Naz's doctoral dissertation entitled "UNDERSTANDING SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION BEHAVIOR OF CONSUMERS: AN EXTENSION TO THE THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR" will take place on June 27, 2022 at the Doctoral School of Economics and Regional Sciences of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The supervisor of the dissertation is Róbet Magda.
