The first event of the EMOK Conference was the PhD Forum, which was attended by nearly 50 registered participants (including 21 PhD students).
In the Junior section, 7 young researchers presented their research, one of them a foreign student. In the Master I session, 6 PhD students who are already at an advanced stage in their research process presented. The papers presented were reviewed by a 3-member committee (Prof. Dr. Mária Törőcsik, Dr. Annamária Sasné Grósz and Dr. Balázs Révész), who made recommendations to support the future work of the young researchers. The professional part of the event was concluded by the Master II session, where internationally distinguished researcher Prof. Dr. Justin Paul gave a presentation and PhD student presentations in English, which were reviewed by a 2-member committee (Prof. Dr. Justin Paul and Prof. Dr. Zsófia Kenesei). For the students presenting here, the opportunity to have their papers reviewed by a prominent figure in the marketing academic community was of particular importance. As usual, the PhD Forum concluded with an informal evening of entertainment.
