The international Kautz Conference on Business and Economics was successfully held in Győr, Hungary, at Széchenyi István University from 10th to 12th October 2024, bringing together researchers from twenty-one countries from four continents to present their work on global challenges and to build scientific networks.
From August 26 to 28 this year, the 30th International EMOK (Association for Marketing Education and Research) Conference was held, hosted by the Faculty of Economics at the University of Pécs.
In early September 2024, Gábor Rekettye's new 285-page book titled Kkv-marketing (SME Marketing) was also published in print by Akadémiai Kiadó.

The public defense of Gábor Murai's doctoral dissertation entitled "Modeling the demand and supply of product related information; using evidence from YouTube" will take place on September 23, 2024 at the Doctoral School in Regional Policy and Economics of the University of Pécs. The supervisor of the dissertation is János Barancsuk.
The public defense of László Bendegúz Nagy's doctoral dissertation entitled "CONSUMER RESEARCH OF CREDIBILITY AND VALUE OF ORGANIC FOODS" will take place on October 14, 2024 at the Doctoral School of Economic and Regional Sciences of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Gödöllő. The supervisor of the dissertation is Ágoston Temesi.
The first event of the EMOK Conference was the PhD Forum, which was attended by nearly 50 registered participants (including 21 PhD students).
