On October 6, 2023, the workshop titled "AI Challenges in the Media, Communication, and Information Industries" took place in an online format. The keynote speaker for the workshop was Dr. Katalin Fehér, Associate Professor at the National University of Public Service, Professor of the transatlantic Horizon Europe NGI program, Fulbright Alumna, Vice President of ECREA Mediatization, Founder of AI Media Research, Bolyai Fellow of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Visiting Professor at Masaryk University, and a member of the University of Southern California MASTS.

The public defense of Sevinj Omarli's doctoral dissertation entitled "DYNAMIC PRICING STRATEGY, IMPACTS OF FAIR PRICING PERCEPTION ON CONSUMER REACTION" will take place on November 16, 2023 at the Doctoral School of Business and Management of the Corvinus University of Budapest. The supervisor of the dissertation is Tamás Gyulavári.

The summer could not end otherwise than with the EMOK conference, which this year took place in Szeged, the City of Sunshine. Participants not only learned about responses to changing challenges but also experienced the extreme hot summer weather and the effects of the SZIN festival.

The purpose of the workshop is to stimulate discussions among Ph.D. students and scholars within the area of interorganizational research. The workshop provides an excellent opportunity for participants to present and discuss their research papers in a constructive and supportive environment. The workshop welcomes empirical and conceptual research papers or work-in-progress papers from Ph.D. students, post doc researchers and faculty members.

The annual conference of the European Marketing Academy (EMAC) is one of the most prestigious international events of the European marketing science profession, which will take place in Bucharest and will be organized by The Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) from 26 to 31 May 2024.

The public defense of Zsuzsanna Fehér's doctoral dissertation entitled "Sustainable museums: a new paradigm for the 21st century from the perspective of museum professionals and visitors" will take place on October 19, 2023 at the Doctoral School of Business and Management of the Corvinus University of Budapest. The supervisors of the dissertation are Katalin Ásványi and Melanie Smith.

The public defense of Chaker Hager's doctoral dissertation entitled "Guests’ perceptions and hotels’ approaches as to csr strategies in the hotel industry: a comparative study between Tunisia and Hungary" will take place on October 17, 2023 at the Doctoral School of Business and Management of the Corvinus University of Budapest. The supervisors of the dissertation are Katalin Ásványi and Ákos Varga.

The public defense of Sekhniashvili Gvantsa' doctoral dissertation entitled "Developing Wine Tourism Destination Image Measurement Scale on The Example of Georgia" will take place on October 5, 2023 at the Doctoral School of Economic and Regional Sciences of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Gödöllő. The supervisors of the dissertation are Zoltán Bujdosó and Lajos Szabó.

The public defense of Mert Mentes' doctoral dissertation entitled "Investigating the Impact of User Experience in Turkey's Online Bookstore: Application of Flow Theory" will take place on October 5, 2023 at the Doctoral School of Business and Management of the Corvinus University. The supervisors of the dissertation are Ariel Mitev and Anna Irimiás.

The 6th edition of the International Conference on Economics and Business Management – ICEBM 2023 will bring together academics and researchers from various fields (accounting, business information systems, economics, finance, marketing and management) to share their innovative ideas and research results regarding current economic problems, both at macro and micro levels. The language of the conference will be English. Selected papers will be published in the scientific journal Közgazdász Fórum – Forum on Economics and Business (http://kozgazdaszforum.ro).
