Abstract

Marketing: The synergy of science, consulting and practice

The ongoing debate about the content of marketing is not simply the result of misunderstandings among researchers, managers, and users, but is a consequence of its continuous adaptation and renewal to social, economic, and environmental trends, global, and local challenges. In the study, the author outlines the historical phases of marketing development, and its scientific theoretical interpretation based on a literature review, research, and practical experience, reaching the increasingly appropriate transdisciplinary knowledge and the transformative marketing interpretation. To ensure the harmony and mutually reinforcing effect of scientific research, consulting, and practical activity, he formulates the synergetic model, to which he also organizes his thoughts and suggestions regarding the criteria and solutions of today's successful marketing.
